But it didnt. Vote treshold was 70k+ votes. How come it was passed with 66K+ votes))

@MakerMak

Quoted directly from the vote portal. Also, 10k MKR threshold is the new minimum participation threshold as per MIP51 (also mentioned below).

It hasn’t been passed yet. You maybe confusing this with something else. The total vote participation has been less than 9600 MKR (not 66k as you mention) as of right now.

"Outcomes

This poll implements a Minimum Positive Participation value. The Minimum Positive Participation is currently set to 10,000 MKR.

If the votes for the ‘Yes’ option exceed the votes for the ‘No’ option AND the votes for the ‘Yes’ option exceed 10,000 MKR, then the following actions will be taken:

  • The MIP Editors will mark these proposals Accepted and the Governance Facilitators will confirm their passage on the Governance and Risk call on Thursday, July 29.
  • Any further work required to implement these proposals will be tasked to the relevant Core Units.

Otherwise, this proposal will be marked as rejected per MIP51."

The executive passed because some of the MKR people had on the Dec 11 spell was removed from the governance contract entirely by its owner. That lowered the required threshold by just enough that the July 2 spell passed

Actually I was taking about that one. # Rates Changes, July Core Unit Budgets, and PSM DC-IAM - July 2, 2021

Very unpopullar executive vote)) Looks like everybody decided to go short on Mkr. )) And it was difficult to find a little majority.
