Agenda and Preamble

  • Hello to everyone. Welcome to Core Unit Launch Pod Sessions episode #21. I am Retro. I am a contributor with the SES CU at MakerDAO. Today I am joined with the proposed CU team for Immunefi. Immunefi proposal is currently in the formal submission phase with about five days left with over 50000 yes votes, no no votes, and no abstaining votes. Immunefi represents the first decentralized collaboration between decentralized organizations.

Travin Keith and Joshua Pritikin

28:11 - Retro: What do you identify that would make Maker’s Bounty program one of the industry leaders?

29:54 - David Utrobin: Is your team thinking about recruiting more security researchers to provide something like an in-house auditing firm that the engineering teams can fall back or use as support?

31:48 - Retro: What is the process surrounding defining the security risks for the personnel? What are the initial steps that you are envisioning that can make Maker’s personnel security more robust?

34:36 - Retro: Do you have plans to expand, or is it something that you will shoulder and continue carrying for the near and mid future?

36:50 - Retro: What is your philosophy on proactiveness and reactiveness, especially with security? Do you have a defined framework that Immunefi follows to try to prioritize some of these tasks being reactive or proactive, or is it more of a case by case or protocol by protocol approach for developing that framework?

38:44 - Retro: Is there any last-minute thing that you would like to include? What is the best way to get a hold of you?
