MakerDAO Actual Expenses vs. Budget - October 2021 - October’s update of the monthly Core Unit expenses are here; expenses have decreased for some Core Units, but we onboarded DECO, SAS, and IS-001, which altogether is ~$28.8M in expenses annualized. If including the estimated annual cost of Oracles, the total annualized cash burn rate is ~$44.4M.
SAS-001 Incubation Recap - Milestones and Key Learnings - Sidestream Auction Services Core Unit publishes their incubation recap, which details their incubation experience, why they work on auctions and liquidations, and present a demo of their new Auction UI.
[Nov29’ 21] Post-Mortem: Impaired Poll Voting On Governance Portal - Voting on governance polls was temporarily hindered due to a bug that was triggered by the latest weekly governance polls posted on November 29th. The DUX team deployed a hotfix 53 minutes after the bug was reported and published a post-mortem reviewing the bug origins, analysis, and mitigation steps.
Conclusion to Colby’s DAO Scaling Research: Forum Post #2 - @colby publishes a follow-up post to the previous discussion concerning range poll voting. @colby presents two steps for implementing a range polling strategy, reviews their gas efficiency, provides sample results, and proposes our next steps to take. Check out the post for more data, documents, and information.
Real-World Sandbox: Final Deliverable for Consultation Round - The Real-World Sandbox Team present their final deliverable for community feedback and discussion. The report contains research on credit types and collateral eligibility, setting up a resilient and scalable process, and the next steps.
Chainlog: Improving how we keep track of our deployed contracts - PECU has been working on improving the UI for Chainlog, replacing the previously used Changelog, which is built on web2 and subject to being hacked. Some features cannot be carried over, and some new features will be available. Check out the post for more information.
MIP39c2-SP27 - Adding Financial Strategy Core Unit - MIPs in RFC do not usually land in the Forum at a Glance, but it is very exciting to see the need for a Financial Strategy Core Unit, FS-001, potentially coming to fruition. Authored by @Aes and contributed by @SebVentures, their MIP is worth a read.
wstETH-A Parameters Adjustment - December 1st, 2021 - The Risk, PE, and Oracles Core Units decided to propose a change to a few wstETH-A parameters found in post allowing for larger debt exposure. These changes will be included in the on-chain poll next week if there are no larger community objections.

Request For Comment - 2022 AO Improvements Feedback - @prankstr25 announces that the New Silver team would like to participate in and expand efforts on improving how non-blockchain-native companies can better interact and be more transparent with the community. @prankstr25 is asking the community to help provide some ideas and commentary on what would be best for New Silver to focus on.
Proposal Idea - Purchase ETH for Strategic Reserves [Poll] - @Aes from Real-World Finance seeks community feedback on a proposal to purchase additional ETH held by the protocol as strategic reserves to hedge any sustained spikes in ETH price and Gwei. @Aes asks the community whether the DAO should purchase ETH as strategic reserves to hedge gas costs? If yes, then how much should be purchased in reserves?
An assessment, first-hand experience, and recommendations from the Aave Offboarding - @richards86 presents an unfortunate first-hand experience through discussing the effects of the current asset offboarding process and offers detailed recommendations to help improve future situations.
BondAppetit: Proposal to create a Standard Vault with a collateral ratio of 100% and a stability fee of 3% - @BondAppetit, a DeFi protocol for business loans, introduce themselves and submit a proposal to create a Standard Vault with a collateral ratio of 100% and a stability fee of 3%, which are roughly the same rates for low-risk bonds.

D3M Parameters & Guidance for MOMC - Signal Closes December 9th - As we move ahead with future changes on the parameters for the D3M, @Primoz ask the community on behalf of the MOMC for some guidance on what should be the spread between Aave DAI net borrow cost (incl. rewards) and ETH-A, and what should be the D3M Debt Ceiling.
Should We Introduce a Performance Modifier to the Delegate Compensation Trial? - Signal Closes December 10th - The GovAlpha Core Unit would like to propose a change to the cut-off value for delegate compensation. They introduce a Performance Modifier which will result in a reduced amount of compensation at lower levels of metric, and ask whether we should introduce a performance modifier to the Delegate Compensation Trial.
